Lightroom 2 Released

Yesterday I pre ordered Scott Kelby’s Lightroom 2 book from Amazon and had my fingers crossed that Lightroom 2 would be released soon, preferably before my next holiday at the end of August

Today it was announced that Lightroom 2 was released – Hurray!!!

I checked the upgrade price to see what the $99.00 was in pounds using Adobe’s special conversion rates and was rather surprised to see the upgrade was £81.08, or about $160.00 at today’s rate – Boo!!!

Given Adobe’s track record of rip off exchange rates perhaps I shouldn’t be too surprised.

I’ll probably still buy it though.
