Isle of Man to the Tranqui Otter

We were up early for the morning Ben My Chree sailing to Heysham and the onward drive to our first stop at Gretna Green. It's getting to be a bit of a habit of ours to stop here for haggis, tatties and neeps. A short drive back over the border bought us to ASDA, where we stocked up on provisions for the long weekend ahead. Another short drive took us to The Tranquil Otter, our home for the next few days.

After checking in to our lodge we unpacked the car and my mother and I, along with the site dog, set off for a walk around the private lake. After checking the lodge's "bedroom browser" we headed off to the nearby Greyhound pub for our evening meal.
